Ding Dang Y'all!
Now, I know I fell of the apple cart this week on keepin y'all updated on my life. But, wait until you hear these stories, I think they're worth the wait!
Story #1 - As y'all know this past Sunday was the big game. I went to my weird cousin Charlie's house to watch it on his 57" TV. Ding DANG that is huge! I could see right up Tom Brady's nose. As you can expect there was lots of booze, wings, and smokin'. I personally was happy that the Giants won, I like rooting for the underdog. I tell you what though, that Eli Manning sure don't have a good game face. Now, if he just shut his mouth instead of letting it hang open like that he might look more intimidating. But, I guess looks don't matter so much when you're MVP of the game and proud owner of a new blingy ring. Tom Petty was puttin on a pretty boring half time show, so Charlie decided to do one fo his own, and recruited me to be an interpretive dancer. He played some of the weirdest songs he has (and he's got some weird ones!) and I boogied down.
Story #2 - The next day, Monday, was my birthday! I rounded up a few friends and we headed out for a night on the town. Everywhere we went cousin Charlie took over the jukebox, but I didn't mind cause he played my favorites for my birthday. There was a lot of Jack, and then a lot of funfetti birthday cake. I don't necessarily recommend that particular combo. It didn't end up sitting too good with me on Tuesday. My boss weren't none too happy with my productivity, but it was my birthday!
Story #3 - Mardi gras! Now, I couldn't actually go to N'awlins, but I tried to muster the energy to at least flash a few people driving by my house. I didn't get no beads, but I figure if the driver of that mini-van had em I would've gotten some. I still felt kinda queasy, so I ate some gumbo and went to bed. This turned out to be another combo I don't recommend.
Story #4 - SNOW DAY! So, Wednesday morning rolled around and I was finally feelin' better, but my Camaro was definitely not going to make it anywhere in all that snow. So, I made my boss angry again and stayed home! I listened to my weird cousin Charlie's radio station all day while I hung out in my apartment. Later that night I went outside and made a snowwoman. She's wearin' a hot pink bikini. I can't wait 'til summer to wear mine! Maybe I'll have to take a Spring Break trip...Mexico sounds pretty dang good.
Well, that's about all for my stories. I sure am glad it's Friday. This weekend is supposed to be cold again, I sure do miss the winter in 'Bama. I ain't got no plans yet, maybe I'll see what my cube neighbor Denise is up to. I hear she likes to sing karaoke.
What's That High Pitched Sound I Hear? Ever see the video clips of girls going bat-crazy when The Beatles came to America? Prepare your earplugs. It could get just as loco with the film release of the teen-vampire love story "Twilight."
We're jsut sayin'...ready yourself for a similar onslaught. The movie based on the popular book series opens tomorrow. This could get ugly.
